	Welcome Baja Custom Tours Gray Whale trips begin and end in San Diego. Our transportation to Guerrero Negro is in Ford vans driven by experienced Baja drivers. They have many years and trips in Baja and know the people, their customs, and details along the way. Our first day is spent driving to Guerrero Negro, approximately 10 hours, with a lunch stop to observe a small example of local cave paintings left by indigenous Baja natives centuries past. Our lodgings are local motels with clean rooms and individual bathrooms. All food is included and is healthy and indicative of local recipes - lots of seafood as well as traditional Mexican dishes. We will see the whales from pangas, small boats driven by very experienced local boatmen, which allow us to observe the whales up close and personal. The number of whales in Guerrero Negro's lagoons is simply overwhelming! Depending on the length of the trip, we will take at least 2 whale trips to different parts of the lagoons - different scenery and whale behaviour. We will also observe other local wildlife like Auspreys, marsh birds, sea life, and other mammals. One of our whale trips includes a drive through the Guerrero Negro salt works - one of the largest in the world. The last day of our trips is for the drive home and sharing of tales and pictures. We have lunch at a popular food stand in Ensenada, a truly local food treat - and delicious! All tours, lodging, visas, food, and beverages are included. Gratuities are extra.
